Take your keys, lock your car, never, never hide a second key in or on your car, never leave your vehicle running, even for a second. Do not leave things on your seat were they can be seen, put them in the trunk or under the seat. Always park in a well lighted parking lot, this is also for your safety as well. Try to use your emergency brake when you park and park near a curb. This makes it hard to tow away. Never leave your title in your car, ever. If you loose only one key and your keys are computerized, then call us or a locksmith in your area to reprogram the key/s that you still have. This will erase your lost key/s so they can no longer start your car. Leave some kind of card with your name and address on it hidden in the vehicle like under the back seat, up under the dash, slide it down by the window inside the door, under the mat in the trunk. this will help identify your car later. A basic alarm system for your vehicle will help some, it makes people look toward the sound of the noise. Have something installed to kill the starter. We do this too. If you have a garage try to use it. For a copy of these and other safety tips, go to our contact page and leave an Email.
