Question...

HI Rick, i was trying to program the keys of toyota innova as i was doing it the it created problem. The keys didnt get programmed instead the original key of the customer when inserted in the lock the security light did not went off and the car is starting and when the key is removed the security light is solid on. Help me out to solve this problem. Thanks

Answer It sounds like you are on the right track. The problem you may have had is turning the key on. On some Toyota vehicles you only put the key in the lock. Sometimes people tend to try to start the car too soon. I have some questions. Are you using a programmer? if so what kind? Are you using the correct key blank? A Lot of vehicles require a Dealer Only Key. You can get these from a Locksmith supply company. What year is the vehicle? Try to give as much info as you can so that I may walk you Thu this. Good luck.
